Foods That Cause Cellulite
An anti-cellulite diet is a great thing to embark upon if you are serious of getting rid of your skin’s dimply appearance.
Are there really foods that cause cellulite? Common sense would tell you that it’s virtually impossible for a food to cause this problem. But certainly eating an excessive amount of certain TYPES of foods can definitely cause cellulite to appear.
These foods include:
- High carbohydrate foods (in particular simple carbs. These cause weight gain and bloating).
- Fatty and greasy processed foods
- High sugar foods
All of the above foods, when eating in excess, have one thing in common: they make you fat. There is no getting around that.
But you do not have to avoid your favorite naughty foods completely on a get rid of cellulite diet. You just have to be sensible about it and have some common sense. If you know you’ve had too much junk food already this week, then have the willpower not to eat it today or tomorrow.
Drink Water
Water is an amazing substance. Drinking plenty of clean, pure water every day will flush your system and keep your skin in tip top shape. This is vital for cellulite reduction and prevention.
The foods you SHOULD be eating a lot of include:
- Wholegrains
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Seeds, nuts, legumes
A Note on Processed Foods
As a rule, the more processed and packaged food you avoid, the better your health will be, the more weight you’ll lose and the more chance you’ll have of getting rid of cellulite. Keep that in mind next time you go shopping!
